Training at the age of 13, Carla Gonzalez made her pro wrestling debut in December of 2018 where she became known as "The Prodigy". Proving that nickname correct and wrestling under the ring name Rok-C, Gonzalez was able to outlast a field of 16 women to become ROH Women's World Champion at the age of 19. Booker T has had a hand in helping train the up-and-coming star. In March 2022, Gonzalez signed a developmental contract with WWE and reported to the Orlando Performance Center. She made her WWE debut as Roxanne Perez on the April 15, 2022 episode of NXT: Level Up.
